Winter Concert!

The CdS Guitar Ensembles, Percussion Ensembles, and Concert Bands will present their WINTER CONCERT on Thursday December 11. As a special treat, our Jazz Bands will perform at the pre-concert Holiday Dinner in the Cafeteria on the same night. We hope you can join us for this special night of music!

If you ordered a Dinner (catered by RigaTonys), your ticket also includes free admission to the concert! (no need to order a ticket on GoFan)

If you did NOT order a dinner, you can still watch the Jazz Bands for free in the Cafeteria!

Schedule:

• 4:45 pm - Call Time for JAZZ BANDS in band room. Move to cafeteria to set up

• 5:00 pm - HOLIDAY DINNER starts in the Cafeteria

• 5:15 pm - Jazz Bands begin playing during the Dinner

• 6:15 pm - Volunteers move equipment/chairs/stands back to Band Room, Jazz Band members eat dinner (if they ordered a meal)

• 6:25 pm - Percussion Ensembles CALL TIME in auditorium for dress rehearsal on stage; Volunteers help clean cafeteria

• 6:30 pm - Doors Open to Auditorium for Spectators

• 6:45 pm - Guitar Call Time on stage (in seats)

• 7:00 pm - Concert Bands CALL TIME in Band Room to tune, move to stage to set up after Percussion

• 7:00 pm - CONCERT STARTS in Auditorium (Guitar performs first, then Percussion Ensembles, then Concert Bands)

  • Concert Order:

    • Guitar: Hark the Herald Angels Sing, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Dance, Chanukah Song

    • Percussion: Of Hanukkah, O Come O Come Emmanuel, Christmas Quirks

    • Concert Bands: Snowdrifts, Hanukkah Festival of Lights, First Noel, Coventry Groove, Toboggan, Metal Bell Carol, Merry Christmas Darling, A Winter’s Journey

• Approx 9 pm - Concert Ends, clean up stage, return items to Band Room/Percussion Room
