Marching Band End-of-Season

Next Monday - we will have a required meeting for ALL marching band students at 6:20 am in the Band Room. 
We will recap the season, watch the Championships video, and discuss how the rest of the semester works for zero hour. We will also talk about our Season-end AWARDS and DESSERT BANQUET on Tuesday, November 18 in the Cafeteria! 

ALL members are REQUIRED to select an activity to finish out "zero hour" for the rest of the marching band semester (up until Winter Break). 
Your options are: Jazz Band (will perform at the Holiday Dinner prior to the Winter Concert as a combined group), Auditioning for Steel Band, OR Auditioning for Winter Guard. 
Only select Steel Drum or Winter Guard if you intend on auditioning/participating in Semester 2. 

In Semester 2 (January) - we will start our second semester "Zero Hour" classes of Jazz Bands and Steel Band (meet every day 6:20 am - 7:15 am inside) and Winter Guard (extracurricular - usually 2 nights a week with frequent Saturday performances). Students in Marching Band are not required to have a zero hour in second semester, although most choose to. If you audition for Jazz or Steel, we will add that to your 2nd semester schedule, if it is not already. Students do not HAVE to take a second semester zero hour class.
