Event Schedules 2025
Marching Band
All events are REQUIRED for Marching Band students. All students are required to take the bus to and from events. However, if there is a situation where a parent needs to drive their student to an event or after an event, please fill out and turn in this form to Mr. DuPlessis at least two weeks prior to an event. Students cannot drive themselves to or from any marching events. Clear bag policy is in effect for all CdS Football Games and many other venues.
September 20 - Highland Invitational (schedule coming out on 9/9 - plan on an afternoon call time and evening performance)
September 27 - Bands of America Regional Championship at NAU (Flagstaff) - Itinerary here with Prelims Schedule
NOTE - If you are going to take your student home or stay in Flagstaff after the event and not take the bus home, we need this form filled out ASAP so we can plan for busing. (FORMS DUE SEPTEMBER 5 to Mr. DuPlessis)
Fall Break - No Marching Rehearsals - September 29-October 8
October 9-10 - Marching Band Mini-Camp at Corona - (schedule coming soon)
October 11 - Corona del Sol Invitational (schedule coming out on 9/9 - plan on an afternoon call time and evening performance)
Student Volunteering Signup (Marching students should make sure their time is in morning/afternoon to make it to Call Time)
Adult Volunteer Signup (we need all hands on deck for our biggest fundraiser of the year!)
October 17-19 - Marching Band California Trip (performing at Vista Murrieta Invitational on 10/18 - schedule coming soon)
Student Room Sign-up (4 people per room) - coming soon. All band fees must be paid in full to sign up for rooms.
October 25 - Dobson Invitational (schedule coming out on 9/9 - plan on an afternoon call time and evening performance)
November 1 - Arizona State Marching Band Semifinals at Desert Vista HS (schedule coming out on 10/27 - plan on an afternoon call time and evening performance)
November 14 - Arizona State Marching Band Championships at Glendale Community College (schedule coming out on 11/3 - plan on an afternoon call time and evening performance)
Concert Bands, Percussion Ensembles, and Jazz Bands
All events are REQUIRED for ensembles in which the student performs in during their class. All events are in the Corona del Sol Auditorium, unless otherwise noted. Clear bag policy is in effect for all auditorium events.
9/24 - Fall Recruiting Concert (6th hour Wind Ensemble with Middle School Bands from Aprende, Pueblo, Kyrene, and Kyrene Traditional Academy) - Call Time at CdS 4:30 pm (rehearse with MS bands, dinner provided by Band Boosters); Concert Starts 6:30 pm (FREE concert)
9/25 - Fall Band Concert (1st Hour Symphonic Band, 2nd Hour Freshmen Concert Band, 6th hour Wind Ensemble) - Call Time at CdS 6:15 pm, Doors Open for Spectators at 6:30 pm, Concert Starts at 7 pm. Tickets $11 (link coming soon)
10/30 - Fall Percussion Concert (1st Hour Percussion, 2nd Hour Percussion, 6th Hour Percussion, 3rd Hour Advanced Guitar) - Call Time TBA, Doors Open for Spectators at 6:30 pm, Concert Starts at 7 pm. Tickets $15 (link coming soon)
11/24 - Special Band Concert with ASU Wind Symphony (6th hour Wind Ensemble) - Call Time 6 pm (rehearse with ASU Band); Concert starts at 7 pm. FREE Concert, including a PREMIER composition with ASU performing with CdS!
12/11 - Band and Percussion Holiday Concert; Holiday Pre-Concert Dinner in Cafeteria with Jazz Bands (6th hour Wind Ensemble, 1st Hour Symphonic Band, 2nd Hour Freshmen Concert Band, All Percussion Classes, All Guitar Classes, Jazz Bands) - Jazz call time 4:40 pm; Dinner 5 pm; Concert Bands Call Time 6:30 pm; Doors Open to Spectators at 6:30 pm, Concert Starts at 7 pm.
